What Is Water?


Water is a common chemical substance, the word water is used only for its liquid state. Water has 3 states of liquid, solid i.e. ice and water vapor. Water is an organic compound composed of oxygen and hydrogen, it is composed of 1 molecules of oxygen and 2 molecules of hydrogen hence its scientific name H2O.

About 70 percent of the fresh water is used by agriculture.
